Psychosocial & Systems Support

Psychosocial and systems support at Reaura Therapy focuses on supporting people to strengthen emotional wellbeing, build capacity in daily life, and navigate the systems, relationships, and life circumstances impacting their wellbeing and quality of life.

Support is tailored to the individual and recognises the impact that stress, trauma, relationships, environments, and difficult life experiences can have on emotional wellbeing, routines, relationships, community participation, and day-to-day functioning.

A collaborative and systems-informed approach is used to support people in building insight, strengthening coping strategies, increasing emotional understanding, and navigating challenges in ways that feel practical, supportive, and meaningful.

Support may involve:

  • psychosocial recovery-oriented support

  • emotional wellbeing and capacity building

  • emotional regulation and coping strategies

  • systems navigation and advocacy support

  • strengthening routines and daily functioning

  • navigating life stressors and transitions

  • support surrounding trauma, stress, and relationship difficulties

  • building social connection and community participation

  • reflective and collaborative support

  • understanding how relationships, environments, and life experiences can impact wellbeing

My Approach

My approach is grounded in person-centred, trauma-informed, and systems-aware practice, recognising that emotional wellbeing is often shaped by many different life experiences and circumstances.

I value creating a calm and supportive space where people feel heard without judgement, while working collaboratively to strengthen wellbeing, confidence, coping strategies, and meaningful connection within the systems surrounding them.

A desk with a beige vase holding green leafy branches, a framed quote on the wall reading "When we support systems, we support people," a small wooden bowl, a copy of a magazine or book titled "The Language of Emotions," and a stack of books on self-awareness and compassion, with a laptop, a notebook, and a cup of coffee nearby.
