A family therapy session with four people in a cozy living room: a man, a woman, a young boy, and a woman taking notes. They are sitting on a sofa and armchair, engaging in a warm conversation. The room has neutral tones, potted plants, a framed quote on the wall, and a coffee table with books and a tissue box.

Parenting & Family Support

Parenting and family support at Reaura Therapy focuses on strengthening relationships, emotional understanding, attachment, and connection within families. Support is approached with compassion and curiosity, recognising that families often navigate stress, change, emotional overwhelm, differing needs, and challenges that may not always be visible to others.

Rather than focusing on blame or “perfect parenting,” support aims to create space for understanding patterns, improving communication, strengthening connection, and navigating challenges in ways that feel practical, supportive, and grounded in real life.

Support may involve:

  • strengthening parent-child relationships

  • emotional regulation and understanding behaviours

  • attachment and connection-focused support

  • navigating family stress and conflict

  • parenting overwhelm and burnout

  • improving communication within families

  • supporting emotional wellbeing in children and adolescents

  • reflective and systems-informed family support

  • navigating life transitions and family changes

My Approach

My approach is grounded in reflection, emotional safety, and understanding the experiences that shape family relationships and wellbeing. I value creating a calm and supportive space where families feel heard without judgement, and where support is approached collaboratively, thoughtfully, and with compassion for the realities of family life.
