About Reaura Therapy

Reaura Therapy was created from a desire to offer support that feels both professional and deeply human. The practice has been shaped by years of working alongside people navigating mental health challenges, trauma, family difficulties, emotional overwhelm, and the often exhausting systems connected to support and wellbeing.

My work is informed by backgrounds in psychology, criminology, and social work, alongside experience across mental health, psychosocial support, family services, and trauma-informed practice. Over time, these experiences reinforced that people’s struggles rarely exist in isolation. Relationships, past experiences, stress, environments, family dynamics, and systems can all shape the way people cope, connect, and move through life.

I value support that feels genuine, collaborative, and grounded in real life — not rushed, overly clinical, or focused only on diagnoses and labels. My approach centres on creating a space where people feel safe enough to speak openly, reflect honestly, and explore their experiences without judgement or pressure to “have it all together.”

Reaura Therapy currently offers flexible support through telehealth, community-based sessions, and home visits where appropriate. I recognise that comfort and emotional safety can look different for everyone, and I value working in ways that feel accessible, supportive, and responsive to individual circumstances.

At the heart of the practice is a simple belief: people deserve support that sees the whole person, not just the parts that are easiest to explain.
